IKEA

FINALLY i was able to find the time and reason to go to IKEA in Japan! The last one i went to was in Canada almost a decade ago. IKEA is awesome. We got curtains.

The other reason IKEA rocks in Japan:
Sapporo beer at the cafeteria. Only ¥230 and they even provide bottle openers at the cash register.
Gotta love IKEA. If you want, you can get drunk and make home decorating decisions.

And yes, in this picture you might notice me balancing french fries with a delicious salad. But focus on the beer. That's what's important here.

Burger in a Bag

They bring it to the table in a big puffy foil balloon and then cut it open with a giant fork and knife right in front of you, while you either wear or hold a paper bib to prevent any hot grease flying onto your clothes or face.
A little pricey but delicious and worth the risk and cost for the novelty.
I had "Burger with egg and seasonal vegetables." Yum.
