Let us travel back, way back to the night of December 20th, when our good friends Ben and Tomoko had us over for a lovely sushi dinner at their house. Tomoko is an excellent sushi `chef` and even once plied her trade as a caterer so she prepared a feast of raw fish for Ulala and i and another friend of theirs Robert (i have mentioned his informative and well-written Buenos Aires blog in previous posts). The food was fantastic, the beer cold, and the conversation interesting. Thank you to Ben and Tomoko for a lovely time. Here are some pictures from the evening:

Hey mate, hope you guys are happy and well back in Canada. We had a fun time that night as well as the other times we hung out. Tomoko's b-day was last Saturday and we ate sushi, tiramisu and drank wine at Robert's. Tomoko got the new Harry Potter book, a 3 hr spa voucher, and some Hello Kitty paraphernalia. We feel we are getting close to having a buyer for our place. Both of us ready to leave. Love to Ulala.

We are indeed happy to be back. Today we shoveled snow out of the driveway! Looks like we got out of BsAs just in time, too! Something a bout a near-riot at the Ezeiza aiport and Air Canada having to leave a bunch of passengers behind and get them out later. I`ll have to read more on the news sites. Oh Buenos Aires and its constant protests....
