Those who live in tin foil houses...

No, this is not a response to the fiery events of yesterday. This happened a few days ago and has been creeping me out ever since. Ulala saw a program on TV that was one of those short little clips about saving energy. I didn`t see it so i don`t know if the motivation is money saving or planet saving and she seems to have failed to pay attention to that part but i guess the result is the same. We went out to the ¥100 shop (LOVE IT!) and bought a bunch of insulation blankets - you know, the kind you wrap people in when you rescue them at sea and whatnot - and we cut them to size and taped them over parts of our windows in an effort to reduce the loss of heat. Yup. I`m 28 years old and living in a tin foil house. I`m all for saving the planet. Hell, i even carry around my own chopsticks so i don`t use the disposable wooden ones they always try to give me at restaurants and convenience stores (thank you Damien for that idea). But i don`t think we`ll be having anyone over for dinner until Spring.
For those of you who lived with me in 3-D of Edwards House that year that we covered our walls with actual tin foil for a party and then left it up all year, these pictures may look eerily familiar...
